Kappa Alpha Theta

Gamma Delta Chapter University of Georgia

Welcome to Theta!

Fraternity Purpose:

The aim is threefold—intellectually, the highest scholarship; socially, the widest influence for good; and the Moral Code is love.

A Note from Our President:

Hello, and welcome to our website! I'm Marie Jefferson from Champaign, Illinois and I currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Kappa Alpha Theta here at the University of Georgia. I am a junior, majoring in Management Information Systems in the Terry College of Business. I have previously served as our New Member Director. I am so excited about our upcoming year, I could not have asked for a more impressive executive board and officers to work with!

Kappa Alpha Theta was established in 1870 as the first Greek-letter Fraternity for women. As an organization, Thetas strive to exemplify our core values of scholarship, leadership, service, personal excellence and friendship/sisterhood. Our members strive to lead the way in the classroom, in campus organizations, and in our local community. Please take a moment to view our chapter-specific events and accomplishments and THINK THETA!
