Kappa Alpha Theta

Gamma Delta Chapter University of Georgia

Welcome to Theta!

Fraternity Purpose:

The aim is threefold—intellectually, the highest scholarship; socially, the widest influence for good; and the Moral Code is love.

A Note from Our President:

Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to visit our website! I am Charlotte Anne Boyd and I currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer for Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Georgia. I am a junior majoring in Finance and International Business with a focus on Legal Studies. I was previously Model Pledge, Human Resources Director, and Social Media Director. This year I have been given the unique opportunity lead the Gamma Delta women of Kappa Alpha Theta. I could not be more excited to embark on this journey with some of the most intelligent, compassionate, and successful young women. Because of all Theta has given to me, it is my pledge to serve Her to the absolute best of my ability.

Kappa Alpha Theta was established in 1870 as the first Greek-letter Fraternity for women. As an organization, Thetas strive to exemplify our core values of scholarship, leadership, service, personal excellence and friendship/sisterhood. Our members strive to lead the way in the classroom, in campus organizations, and in our local community. Please take a moment to view our chapter-specific events and accomplishments and THINK THETA!
